Zach Rush is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from the South West of England. He currently works from his studio in Penryn, Cornwall.
Rush’s working process has a strong foundation in craft, built from a utilitarian aesthetic where the human touch is left visible. Rush uses his cerebral and thought provoking graphic world to tell brand stories and further the visual communication of ideas.
Drawing is at the heart of Rush’s practice, taking inspiration from beach culture, surrealism and inner peace. Rush collects symbols from his daily life that cumulate into conceptually driven images that can be contextualized across multiple domains. Rush’s portfolio spans brand identity & collaboration, large scale murals, lino & handscreened prints, painting exhibitions, graphic design, editorial illustration and animation.
